Use your Rewards Certificate for this offer. I have a Certificate for about $63, which I'll be using to purchase some of these items. Additionally, to get the most bang for your buck, don't forget to go through the Ultimate Rewards Mall for 4x UR points or an online shopping portal.

I too thought so when I first heard about this program. I'm sure lots of you think the same thing. When it's too good to be true, it usually is! Well, in this case, it truly is TRUE. This is America and life is good! In the past, I have written about the Staples Rewards Program which earns you 100% cashback rebates on Free After Rebate (FAR) items for as part of my Rewards Programs For Free Items Series. Similiar to the  Staples Rewards Program , Office Depot gives you 100% back in their Worklife Rewards Program, which you can use to earn even more items. You can use these same rewards over and over again to purchase 100% back items when they come up.

Signing up for this program is easy and is free. They allow only one person, per household to sign up. You can sign up online at www.myworkliferewards.com or you can sign up in person in an Office Depot store. You earn rewards by using your member number when you place orders, and you can receive 10% back in rewards on ink, toner, paper and copy, print services. In addition to taking advantage of the 10% offer, they occasionally have 100% Back in Rewards offers, where they give you credit on merchandise you purchase. You just don't receive the tax or shipping back. So just make sure 

to purchase enough items for free shipping.

How Office Depot's Worklife Rewards Program Works:
You shop and earn rewards every quarter and receive your rewards (must be at least $10)
AFTER the earning period is over. Once you see that rewards have posted in your account (click on the "Rewards Status" link), you can then use the rewards to purchase more 100% back in rewards offers, or other items.

As you can see below, when clicking on Get My Rewards, you can view how much is available
for rewards and the certificate number. You can either print the certificate out and use it in-store, phone in your order and give them the certificate number or simply use it online by entering the Reward Certificate and PIN number. See below where you find your Reward Certificate and 
PIN number. 

Often they have special offers for their members and by clicking on "My Special Offers" under Membership Benefits you can view them. Below is a picture of this.

How to check out:

1. I haven't tried this deal with a coupon code. I will and will let you know if you can get a coupon with this deal.

2. Input your Rewards Certificate Number in the "Card Number" field and the PIN number in the "PIN" field.

3. Don't forget to make sure your Worklife Rewards Membership Number is displayed in the "Member Number" field.

Look at the Table and "The Rewards Received" column above, to see approximately when your rewards Certificate will be in your account. They say in their terms that it should take about 6 weeks for the Certificate to be rewarded.

If you have the Discover More Credit Card you probably know that you can sign up for receiving 5% cashback in certain categories. From April through June you get  5% cashback in the Restaurants and Movies Categories. In the past, I have posted Step by Step Instructions On How To Earn 50,000 airmiles with United or American Airlines & 50,000 with Delta & up to a $500 Apple Gift Card with Fidelity. I did this for myself and received 50,000 United and Delta frequent flyer miles and a $100 Gift Card. On Flyertalk there were discussions of people getting these miles and for their spouses even though it said that this promotion was for one person per household. Also, people have been able to sign up for the Apple promotion and have the monies that they funded prior to signing up count towards their overall transfer amount. They have earned up until $500 by doing this. I decided to try this as well and thought it was time to update you.

If you have a charge card with American Express, like the Premier Rewards Gold Card you can earn
5,000 membership rewards points for adding the Extended Payment Option to your card by June 30th, 2012. Normally with a chargecard you need to pay the balance in full each month. With this program you can choose specific purchases that are over $100 to pay over time. Considering that you have to pay interest, I would
add this offer to my card, but not use it.

Here are two deals that can gain you more Ultimate Rewards Points, with the Groupon deal you can gain 13 points per dollar, 12 from the mall and 1 from your Chase Ink/Bold or Freedom card. Purchase OfficeMax Products & Receive 100% Back in MaxPerks Bonus Rewards

Update: I was able to purchase these items. They became in stock and I spent $54 plus about $3 in taxes. I received free shipping since it was over $50. I already had $37 in MaxPerks so I just applied the $37 Gift Card Number with the Pin Number and redeemed my Maxperks. I paid the remainder $19 with my credit card. I'm so excited to get so many Free After Rebate items!!

Before blogging about this deal, I wanted to check these items for myself. Unfortunately, all of them are out of stock already. I only received the email from them within the hour!! I will keep checking back to see if they become available. I will write about MaxPerks soon.

FrequentMiler posts about Staples offering more Free After Rebate (FAR) offers. Even if you purchased this item last week, you can still purchase another 10 this week, since it has a new rebate offer number. Click here for more details of this new offer.
Unfortunately, since Chase's Ultimate Rewards now offers only 2 miles per dollar for Staples.com you can gain half the amount of points. But since they are free to begin with, it's still not a bad deal.

I know that 6 miles per dollar for Sears isn't the amazing 10 points per dollar Chase was offering for a while
at their Ultimate Rewards Mall, but it's certainly better than the 5 points they are currently offering if your main airline is United. In the past I have been able to purchase e-Gift Cards at drugstore.com and receive miles from MileagePlus, using a non-Chase credit card. So, I believe you would probably get miles for purchasing gift cards through them and then receive miles again when using the Gift Card. I would only use the coupon code when using the Gift Card.
